Basel had a barbecue to celebrate his achievement with all his friends, Beluga, Dylan, Gia and Hobie. As well as Steve, Iva, Joe, Brittany, Nancy F., Matt, Nancy & Steffen! No one minded a little bit of rain.

CHAMPION!

Basel finished his CHAMPIONSHIP in the BRED BY EXHIBITOR class at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Association show in Wrightstown, PA on May 29, 2009, at 14 months old! Basel earned 4 Majors, and 3 Best of Winners along the way.

Good job Basel!

And a really big thank you to Lori Price for teaching us about conformation, and for handling Basel throughout all of his shows (and for teaching us everything else about our first swissy, in between!). We are lucky to have such a great boy, and to have made such wonderful friends along the way.
