Basel and Cooper took a nice quiet day off to go back to Race Point Beach on the cape. Basel tried a little doggie paddling, although he didn't complain, he just doesn't get what the big deal is. Cooper on the other hand swims like a fish!

Swissy shopper
Basel is on the cutting edge of technology. He paid a visit to the new apple store in Boston this weekend to try out all the new phones. 
He was very happy to find the store is dog-friendly. He said the best phones on the market are the hot new banana phones. He said they taste much better than the plain.
He plans to wait to purchase his phone when the upgrade to dog-bone phones are available.

4th of July
Basel took his first real swim to fetch a stick at the water hole at Alewife in Cambridge, MA. Good boy Basel!!
On Basel's first fourth of July, he got to meet Bowie at the Big E in W. Springfield, MA. He really liked watching all the big Swissies in the ring.
Later, he got to play with his friend Jane on the roof deck before the fireworks started.
